2025 4th QUARTERLY EDITION

 INSIDE QEW PUBLISHING

A decision has finally been made to begin utilizing video posts for presenting updates on internal activities such as project developments and productions here at QEW HQ. These posts have been designated Inside QEW Publishing, and though there was significant hesitency with initiating this new exercise of social media, two videos have already been posted. The first one in late November; the second and latest in late December. It'll be some time before some stable continuity posting these videos is established, but repetition, refinement, and time will eventually make a difference. In the meantime, you can check out the latest video posting right here on Rumble.

2026 1st QUARTER NEW RELEASE & 5-PAGE PREVIEWS

After a number of missed years, three comics have finally been earmarked for publication as 2026 1st Quarter New Releases. The Gifted #3, Repo Katz #1, and the graphic novel edition of Kristarella are the three comics will be published and released March 31, 2026. This annual standard of has been addled by various internal setbacks here at QEW Publishing, but there are efforts to marshal resources to resume it. Print orders for each of the books should be placed early next year either during the end of February, or the first week of March. Also, the new feature of making 5-page previews for each book available on Substack for would-be purchasers and subscribers will now be added to the annual new release standard. Readers will now have the option to check out each book before making an actual purchase for the printed edition.

P.I. McQUEEN'S PRODUCTION

The production of this graphic novella project has had more than its share of setbacks. But thanks to the due diligence delivered by Stone Tower Studios, approximately eighty percent of its forty-eight page length have been colored, or gray-toned. Currently, the next priority in the Big Jar is the completion of the Narrative & Dialogue scripting. The deadline for that has been set to January 30, 2026. Even character model, Melissa McQueen, who is featured as the main character in the comic, is sincerely pleased with all the progress. She would likely be very much inclined to help promote its upcoming publication on QEW Publishing Chat, QEW Publishing's voice channel on Discord.

EAT & RUN RE-DO

EAT & RUN Page 1 Inked
The publication of the Eat & Run #0 single printed edition in 2015 was a considered a significant achievement at the time. It's intended purpose was simply to introduce its ultimate 75-page graphic novel edition. However, the future of the project's production was ultimately lost and it remained that way for quite some time. The decision to remake this comic was made this year with an entirely new illustrative style and the initital 75-page book length now reduced to a 56-page one instead. New illustrator/inker, Joe Azpeytia, is applying his stellar talents to depict the story art with a more sharper, cleaner, and more detailed visualized realism. Sarah Williams, the character model featured in the comic, is pleased with this remake, and could likely be willing to help to promoting it on its eventual eve of publication.

SNICKERDOODLE & CORIN WATSON

Very excited here about actually creating the Snickerdoodle Line, QEW Publishing's developing alternative selection of children's books. The production for one of the three of children's books that have been concieved is already underway with our new collaborative artist, Corin Watson.  Corin's art was spotted and reviewed a year ago the Grit City Comic Show in Tacoma, Washington. As of this year he has happily joined our cadre of other collaborative artists dubbed the QEW Crew. We're looking forward to soon seeing the wonderful art he's been creating.

BEAUTIFUL BEAST

Artist, Marcelo Salaza joined the QEW Crew as illustrator/inker of the developing, graphic werewolf novella, Beautiful Beast back in early October. He'd even submitted pages of really nice thumbnail sequential art layouts that were reviewed and approved. But then, suddenly, he went dark, falling off the the grid. Nevertheless, we're thankful he's reached out recently and expressed he's still committed to Beautiful Beast. Marcelo's received a clear direction to resume his work and he appears to be doing so. Stalls in the production process do occur on occassion and parties sometimes lose touch or interest. In this instance, production of the project appears to have recovered.
